The primary purpose of the Program Quality Analyst (PQA) role is to ensure that programs consistently deliver the highest quality of service through close monitoring and analysis of program performance data. PQAs collaborate closely with program to provide strategic insights and recommendations that enhance program effectiveness and drive CQI efforts.

Salary Range: $57,362.76-$64,662.76/year

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Program Quality Analyst (PQA) role is to ensure that programs consistently deliver the highest quality of service through close monitoring and analysis of program performance data. PQAs collaborate closely with program to provide strategic insights and recommendations that enhance program effectiveness and drive CQI efforts.

  • Reports to Director of Quality
  • Work on analysis of trends in program data
  • Meet regularly (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) with the for program monitoring with Supervisors and Assistant Vice Presidents
  • Maintain communication with supervisor regarding all program quality assessments.
  • Initiate case reviews which require coordination among internal stakeholders and departments
  • Assure appropriate documentation of program quality effort to allow for peer and supervisory input, and to meet all reporting and communication needs of funding and referral sources.
  • Create & Analyze data reports to be used for tracking, identifying trends and areas in need of improvement.
  • Provide supportive and corrective feedback to staff to promote outcomes.
  • Monitor outcomes related to Key Performance Indicators
  • Conduct case reviews and chart audits for each program to provide dialogue regarding documentation and clinical practices and ensure follow up as needed by program assignment
  • Technical support and education regarding reporting internal and external databases and information systems including Qlik, Connections, MyEvolv, PROMIS, Care4, MSTi, NIMRS, and Foothold
  • Develop expertise in the Foundling’s data analytic solutions including Qlik, Celonis (certification), AugIntel, and UiPath (certification optional)
  • Respond to critical incidents by pulling supporting documentation, conducting post-moretum reviews
  • Pursue formal education regarding continuous quality improvement strategies (ex. Lean Six Sigma, Agile Scrum)
  • Attend stakeholder meetings, conferences regarding CQI and participate in the ACS CoQI process as applicable
  • Regular and punctual time and attendance, and adherence to The Foundling’s and your department’s specific time and attendance policies and protocol.

Salary Range: $57,362.76-$64,662.76/year

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors in Social Work or related.

  • Preferred experience working with program evaluation, quality assurance, or related field; familiarity with the NYC child welfare system.
  • Must be an excellent communicator and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be an excellent writer and have demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Must have ability to use databases to create data reports, proficiency in excel a must.
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
