Job Title: Corporate Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join our client to support a team of attorneys in their corporate practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing periods of high activity with lighter workloads. Based onsite in Tampa, FL, this direct-hire opportunity offers exposure to corporate transactions, client service, and legal operations while providing an excellent platform to grow within a corporate legal team.
Compensation:
$65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience, with eligibility for overtime pay
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Legal Assistant:
• Provide administrative and transactional support to multiple attorneys within the corporate practice group
• Prepare, edit, and manage legal documents, correspondence, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely processing of corporate legal matters
• Coordinate communication with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support corporate transactions
• Assist with scheduling, billing, and general office operations to keep the practice running efficiently
Qualifications and Skills for the Corporate Legal Assistant:
• 2–3 years of corporate legal assistant or paralegal experience; law firm or in-house corporate legal department preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with document management systems is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Adaptable and steady under shifting workloads; able to manage periods of both heavy and light workflow without frustration
