Job Title: Outside Sales Representative - Millwork & Doors

Job Location: Central Florida

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team and sell high-quality millwork and door products to multi-family builders and contractors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating new business relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to builders in the multi-family, high-volume single-family and commercial markets. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a deep understanding of the construction industry and its needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with multi-family builders, contractors, and developers. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the construction industry.

Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all product inquiries, project specifications, and order details.

Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our millwork and door product offerings, including technical specifications, customization options, and industry standards. Provide product recommendations based on client needs.

Negotiation & Closing Sales: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that all transactions meet company standards and profit margins.

Collaboration: Work closely with the inside sales team, project managers, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Account Manager, or similar role in the building materials or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of millwork, doors, and other building products, particularly as they relate to multi-family construction projects.

Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry professionals.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of multi-family construction processes and project timelines.

Experience working with general contractors, developers, and other professionals in the multi-family construction industry.

Previous experience in selling to contractors and builders is a plus.
