What You'll Do: Facilitate evidence-informed substance misuse, pregnancy and STI prevention education programs for youth.Support the Youth Health Education Supervisor with community outreach to promote youth programs, including pregnancy, STI, and substance misuse prevention educationespecially among hard-to-reach populations.Ensure program compliance with parental permission requirements, incentives, and distribution of educational materials.Maintain fidelity to evidence-based curricula and funding requirements through proper curriculum use, ongoing training, and technical assistance as needed.Collaborate with community providers on all aspects of program delivery, including class scheduling, classroom management, and implementing entry/exit surveys.Maintain attendance records and collect survey data for funding and reporting purposes.Uphold confidentiality and professional conduct when interacting with youth, parents, and community agencies, and when managing records.Assist with purchasing educational supplies as needed for program implementation.Participate in partner-agency collaboratives focused on expanding prevention and recovery initiatives; attend additional collaboratives or coalitions as assigned.Represent the program and agency at community events and special activities, including some events that may occur outside normal business hours.
