Responsibilities: Perform welding tasks on various metal components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure structural integrity and quality standards. Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills and knowledge.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred. Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Welding certification is a plus but not required.
