Friday and Saturday 3 pm-11 pm(Downtown Sarasota) or Saturday and Sunday 4 pm- 11 pm (Siesta Key)

Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency calls, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid and CPR as needed.
• Document incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences in detailed reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues.
• Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is essential.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications related to security are a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and integrity in all actions.
