Job Description

Town Toyota's Service Porter is responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers requiring shuttle service at Town Toyota, including the efficient and timely movement of vehicles on the premises. This position involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure that Toyota's service shop is at the highest level of cleanliness and operation possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and work area
• Move vehicles from the service drive to the service area and parking lot safely and efficiently
• Assist service advisors and technicians as needed
• Perform vehicle check-ins as needed
• Retrieve and deliver parts in a timely manner
• Greet customers and drive our shuttle
• Operate all vehicles safely and follow Washington state rules and regulations in accordance with dealership practices.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent. All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
• Clean driving record to meet insurability standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, this position requires operating motor vehicles. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drugs or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
