About Us

Balance Assisted Living and Memory Care is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care in a warm, welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to oversee daily care operations and support our outstanding caregiving team.

Position Summary

The RCC is responsible for supervising caregivers, ensuring personal care tasks are completed to the highest standards, and monitoring compliance with company policies and state regulations. This role is vital in upholding the dignity, independence, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support caregiving staff, ensuring personal care services meet individual care plans.
  • Provide ongoing training, shadowing, and mentorship for caregivers.
  • Monitor resident care including grooming, hygiene, skin checks, and fall prevention.
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication of care activities in ALIS.
  • Conduct room audits and ensure safety, cleanliness, and infection control protocols are followed.
  • Participate in staff scheduling and shift transition coordination.
  • Support compliance with CCLD regulations and complete incident reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Services Specialist (RSS) and Medication Room Coordinator (MRC) to align care delivery with service plans.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or elder care strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or lead caregiver experience is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with care regulations and charting systems (e.g., ALIS) a plus.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • TB clearance, Health Screening (LIC 503), and Criminal Record Clearance (LIC 508) required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional sitting, bending, and light to moderate physical activity.
