You will work directly with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure that each project aligns with GreenTown's mission to provide sustainable solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, making it ideal for individuals who have strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a drive for results.

  • Set clear project objectives, define success criteria, and ensure that all parties involved are aligned on the project vision.

  • Monitor and control project progress through regular check-ins, updates, and risk management strategies.

  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and in accordance with GreenTown's sustainability goals.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including remote staff, contractors, and third-party vendors, to ensure effective project delivery.

  • Foster a collaborative environment by facilitating regular team meetings, discussing project goals, and providing necessary feedback.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving

  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies for mitigation.

  • Anticipate challenges and proactively address roadblocks, using creative problem-solving to keep projects on track.

  • Ensure that any issues or scope changes are documented and addressed in a timely manner.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Provide regular project status updates, including risk assessments, progress reports, and project forecasts, to senior leadership.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, budgets, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with GreenTown’s policies.

  • Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are properly recorded and celebrated within the team.

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Military training and certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.

  • Skills :

    • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience working in both in-person and remote environments.

    • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar tools).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated while managing remote teams.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Preferred :

    • Military background in logistics, operations, or project management. Familiarity with military terminology, structure, and discipline will be an asset.

    • Experience managing sustainable or green technology projects.

Key Competencies
  • Adaptability : Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and environments, and to lead teams through evolving challenges.

  • Attention to Detail : Consistently producing high-quality work by focusing on the minute aspects of project details, while keeping the big picture in mind.

  • Decision-Making : Able to make informed, effective, and timely decisions to keep projects on track.
