We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Remote Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering excellence on time and within budget. Position OverviewAs a Remote Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate key projects from start to finish, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. You will work directly with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure that each project aligns with GreenTown's mission to provide sustainable solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Coordinate and manage project resources, ensuring the timely and effective completion of all project phases.
Set clear project objectives, define success criteria, and ensure that all parties involved are aligned on the project vision.
Monitor and control project progress through regular check-ins, updates, and risk management strategies.
Ensure projects are completed within budget and in accordance with GreenTown's sustainability goals.
Lead cross-functional teams, including remote staff, contractors, and third-party vendors, to ensure effective project delivery.
Foster a collaborative environment by facilitating regular team meetings, discussing project goals, and providing necessary feedback.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations.
Identify potential project risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
Anticipate challenges and proactively address roadblocks, using creative problem-solving to keep projects on track.
Ensure that any issues or scope changes are documented and addressed in a timely manner.
Provide regular project status updates, including risk assessments, progress reports, and project forecasts, to senior leadership.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, budgets, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with GreenTown’s policies.
Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are properly recorded and celebrated within the team.
Experience : At least 2 years of project management experience, including the leadership of complex projects. Military experience and a background in leadership positions (e.g., Project Manager, Operations Officer) is highly valued.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Military training and certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
Skills :
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience working in both in-person and remote environments.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar tools).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated while managing remote teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred :
Military background in logistics, operations, or project management. Familiarity with military terminology, structure, and discipline will be an asset.
Experience managing sustainable or green technology projects.
Adaptability : Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and environments, and to lead teams through evolving challenges.
Attention to Detail : Consistently producing high-quality work by focusing on the minute aspects of project details, while keeping the big picture in mind.
