Shift: Monday - Friday (day shift)

Job Summary

The Outpatient Nurse provides safe and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Nursing Services.  As a key team member in the clinical area, the Outpatient Nurse promotes a climate of effective performance and learning through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. 

Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12-65yrs+. **For our geriatric unit, 1 year of med/surge experience is strongly preferred.  
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
