The Project Manager will oversee large-scale, high-profile, and high-risk projects for I&IT initiatives. This role involves managing technical teams, ensuring project deliverables meet business requirements within specified time, scope, and budget constraints, while adhering to project management methodologies and frameworks. The Project Manager will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, risk management, and communication across various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and create detailed project schedules.
- Monitor and forecast project costs, managing project schedules, deliverables, and scope.
- Lead development and scrum teams through all project phases.
- Coordinate project processes, develop guidelines, and clarify roles.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure knowledge sharing among team members.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, prioritizing issues and recommending strategies.
- Manage client expectations, providing updates, and resolving potential conflicts.
- Participate in steering committees and provide reporting to senior executives.
- Facilitate and support Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
- Identify areas for improvement to boost the productivity of the Scrum Team.
- Refine requirements, estimate story points, and manage velocity and retrospection.
- Develop reports and presentation material for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and negotiate solutions with multiple stakeholders.
- Conduct reviews of business/system analysis to identify gaps in supporting software and product development.
- Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize the product backlog.
- Recommend software, hardware, and technology resources.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Extensive experience managing stakeholders.
- Experience gathering requirements, creating project schedules, monitoring project costs, and managing project deliverables.
- Experience coordinating project processes, developing guidelines, and resolving conflicts.
- Experience managing project budgets and timelines.
- Experience with Data & AI Governance processes and technologies
- Experience with Azure and Databricks as well as AI technologies
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Understanding of PMI s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related regulations.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Data services, including Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Unity Catalogue, SQL Warehouse
- Experience with AI, LLM and related technologies
