Operator Position (Full-Time)

Dal-Tile is looking for a full-time Operator to join our team. This position is scheduled from 6pm-6am.

Primary Job Functions:

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Complete work in an uncontrolled temperature environment.
• Stock lines/machines with necessary materials.
• Transport, weigh, and mix appropriate ingredients or materials.
• Load and unload machines as required.
• Perform periodic checks on output to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report any issues to the supervisor, including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to safety, quality, and productivity in the assigned area.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safe operating practices at all times.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, developing your own skills, and assisting in the development of other employees.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 68 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
