Primary Purpose
Direct and oversee night shift operations in the cone debone department , ensuring production goals are met while maintaining alignment of people, processes, and resources. This role is essential in driving performance and efficiency with Foodmate automated cone debone equipment .
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Staffing & Scheduling : Ensure correct staffing levels nightly to meet production demand and fulfill customer orders.
- Operational Oversight : Manage Foodmate cone debone lines, ensuring SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPPs) are consistently followed
- Quality & Food Safety : Monitor product quality and packaging specifications, implement corrective actions for defects, and uphold USDA and HACCP standards.
- Performance Metrics : Achieve and exceed department KPIs including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %.
- Compliance & Training : Enforce HR and Safety policies, manage Kronos and Oracle HCM requests, and ensure timely completion of safety certifications.
- Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize Foodmate cone debone automation performance and reduce downtime.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, or Business preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience (poultry or food manufacturing strongly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Foodmate cone debone automation highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and USDA sanitation/pre-op guidelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
