Habitat for Humanity of Dane County (HFHDC) is looking for a Site Superintendent to lead the daily construction operations of our affordable homebuilding projects. What You’ll Do : As a Site Superintendent, you’ll be the go-to person on the build site—managing projects, ensuring safety, and keeping things running smoothly. You’ll work with volunteers, subcontractors, inspectors, AmeriCorps members, and Habitat Dane staff to bring homes to life.
POSITION PURPOSE
The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and oversee the daily construction operations required to build affordable homes in accordance with HFHDC goals and practices. This includes ensuring the safety of everyone on site, regardless of their status as a volunteer, contractor, employee or other, as well as meeting deadlines and budgets. Habitat works year-round throughout Dane County, offering consistent employment through all seasons.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Required to lift 60-80 pounds on a regular basis and will experience frequent bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion. Must be capable of climbing ladders & scaffolds and working from heights. This position will be working outside year-round and must be adaptable to extreme changes in weather (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.) and able to navigate uneven terrain.
