The NetSuite Implementation Consultant will lead the planning, configuration, testing, and deployment of the company's new NetSuite ERP system. This role requires a hands-on expert who can translate business processes into system solutions, ensure seamless integration with existing tools, and train internal teams on effective use of the platform.
The ideal consultant is experienced in end-to-end NetSuite implementations and comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and IT to deliver a successful go-live on time and within budget.
Implementation & Configuration
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of NetSuite implementation — from discovery and design to go-live and stabilization.
Configure NetSuite modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, Inventory, Projects, and Reporting.
Develop workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reports aligned with business requirements.
Customize NetSuite setup to support multi-entity and project-based business operations.
Process Mapping & Optimization
Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to document current processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Translate business requirements into NetSuite configurations and functional specifications.
Support integration of NetSuite with other enterprise systems (CRM, HRIS, etc.).
Training & Change Management
Create and deliver user training and documentation for end-users and department leads.
Provide hypercare support post-launch to ensure adoption and resolve technical or process issues.
Serve as subject matter expert for NetSuite best practices and system governance.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop and execute test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot and resolve data migration or configuration issues.
Validate system performance, reporting accuracy, and compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of NetSuite implementation experience (ERP Consultant or Business Systems Analyst role).
Proven track record with at least two full-cycle NetSuite implementations .
Expertise in one or more modules: Financials, Inventory, Procurement, Project Accounting, or Advanced Revenue.
Strong understanding of accounting workflows and reporting structures.
Experience with data migration, custom scripting (SuiteScript), and 3rd-party integrations (preferred).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
NetSuite certification (ERP Consultant or Administrator) preferred.
Duration: 6 Months (potential for extension or permanent hire)
Compensation: Competitive hourly or daily rate (commensurate with experience)
