Job Description

Willowbrook Personal Care Home is looking for a live-in caregiver to join our team. We are located in Seguin, Texas which is easily accessible to San Antonio, New Braunfels, Austin and Houston. You'll have your own private master bedroom and bathroom along with the den to relax in when off duty with no resident access. You will not be the only employee either as we do have other permanent staff to work with you during our busiest times while attending our 3 residents. We do have a large friendly dog that lives here also. Compensation package will be discussed during the initial interview process as it does include room and board as well as a cell phone stipend and regularly scheduled time off. Our ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, motivated, and engaged with our residents. Candidates should posses a good amount of common sense, humor and a willingness to learn.

This position does not allow for either 1 week on /1 week off, or 2 weeks on /2 weeks off type of schedules.

Responsibilities

• You will be the primary caregiver for our elderly residents
• Caregiving, ADL's, charting, activities, road trips
• Cooking, we do have a Willowbrook Cookbook full of wonderful recipes
• Light Housekeeping as we have a housekeeper that cleans the entire house weekly
• You must be capable of transferring residents, if needed.

Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, trustworthy, attentive, motivated, and engaging
• Some medical experience is preferred such as Caregiving, CNA or Medical Assistant
• You must be a non-smoker
• Able to pass a criminal background and have a clean driving record
• Looking for a long term permanent position
