Job Description
**MANTECH** seeks a highly skilled and experienced **Lead Data Engineer** to serve as a designated Key Personnel on a critical federal contract. This is a fully **REMOTE** opportunity.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Designing and implementing dimensional models (Kimbell star schemas) that can accommodate future changes and growth of the data.
+ Coordinate and document data governance, lineage, and change management process across development, test, and production environments.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into efficient SQL queries and data models.
+ Serving as a skilled Database Administrator (DBA).
+ Working with the project team to ensure efficient and accurate data migration.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, Finance, or Business).
+ 10+ years of relevant experience in key data-related roles, including leading enterprise data management initiatives, data foundation work, data modeling, and data migration.
+ Dimensional modeling, SQL, VB.NET or C#
+ Functional knowledge of US federal budget planning and execution processes and experience with implementing US federal budget planning and execution software.
+ Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, including technical documentation.
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
