Junior Business Analyst

Location: Burbank, CA (Onsite)
Department: Business Operations / Legal Support
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 annually (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our operations team onsite in Burbank. This role supports the firm’s business and legal operations by analyzing data, generating reports, and leveraging AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, and case-related data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports for leadership and practice groups.
  • Utilize AI tools and reporting software to automate processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Support attorneys, case managers, and leadership teams by providing data insights and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, HR, and finance departments to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with firm standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide support on special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

 

Qualifications



 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and database management.
  • Experience with AI-driven tools and automation platforms for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a law firm or legal services environment.
