Job Title: IT Applications Manager – HR
Location: Millsboro, DE (Relocation Assistance Provided)
Salary: Up to $125,000
Primary Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager to lead and manage technology solutions within the HR and Production (Kronos) areas. This role serves as a subject matter expert and business consultant, ensuring IT applications effectively support organizational objectives. The manager will oversee ERP systems, guide strategic and operational planning, and supervise application support staff while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and proactive recommendations to business managers on technology solutions impacting HR and Production.
Manage IT application staff, vendors, and service partners to ensure seamless support for assigned systems.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of business strategies to maximize value from technology investments.
Support IT leadership with program operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reconciliation, vendor management, and procurement.
Configure, maintain, and support third-party applications as required.
Oversee projects using project management best practices and the company’s software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
Ensure effective integration, monitoring, and control of IT initiatives with corrective action as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field.
5+ years managing business applications support and operations.
3+ years experience managing a team.
Strong experience with Oracle HCM and HR-related ERP systems.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies and SDLC standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
