Job Description
**Responsibilities**
+ Performs routine and complex testing in the histology laboratory and performs quality control for testing performed.
+ Performs routine maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
**Qualifications**
+ One (1) year experience as a histology technician in an acute care facility.
+ Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to be an effective team member and to work with many publics across all departments.
+ Basic knowledge of histology testing procedures.

$39.40 - $49.08 /hour
