Family Medicine Physician - Scotia, CA
Compensation: $200,000 to $250,000 per year
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Family Medicine Physician for a reputable client in the Northern California area. The ideal Physician will have a vested interest in the well-being of the patients.

About the Job
Offer a personalized approach to healthcare and holistic medical services treating various medical conditions. Produce healthcare and health management programs based on individual patients’ historical data. Providing care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, vaccination and screening tests, and individualized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative care visits and routine physical examinations.
Administer immunizations and screenings for infectious diseases (e.g., STDs).
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in primary care settings.
Provide women’s health screenings.
Offer nutrition counseling and lifestyle modification guidance.
Prescribe medications and treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring proper dosages and monitoring for adverse reactions.
Oversee medication refills.
Educate patients about medication adherence, potential side effects, and alternative treatments.
Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
Supervise and mentor physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and medical students, if applicable.
Work closely with administrative and support staff to enhance clinic operations and patient flow.
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years experience as a Family Medicine Practitioner
Enrolled as a provider for MediCare and MediCal is highly preferred
Comfortable treating patients of all ages.
Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred
Able to work in Northern California.
