Are you ready to start a career in one of Alabama’s most critical industries? We’re looking for hardworking, safety-minded individuals to join our longwall coal mining operation. No experience necessary – we provide on-the-job training. 

What You’ll Do:

• Work as part of a team in an underground coal mine, supporting longwall mining operations through Union representation.
• Assist with general labor tasks including moving supplies, shoveling, clean-up, and maintenance.
• Operate or assist with operation of equipment under supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures and mine regulations.
• Learn basic mining techniques and progress toward skilled roles with time and experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, underground environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the mine site.
• Must pass a drug screen and physical.

Preferred but Not Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• MSHA training is a plus, but we will provide training for the right candidates.
