The Goddard School in Wilton, CT, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking a qualified teacher to nurture healthy development in children and encourage a life long love of learning. Our staff is made of loving and dedicated teachers who understand each child's needs. The position is full time, 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday.

Job Description:
The Goddard School in Wilton, CT, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking a qualified Teachers to nurture healthy development in children and encourage a life long love of learning. Our staff is made of loving and dedicated teachers who understand each child's needs.
Daily Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing lesson plans
• Meeting the individual needs of the children including feeding and diapering/potty training
• Participating in staff and training meetings
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with children, parents and fellow staff
• Meeting Goddard Quality Assurance and CT state licensing requirements
• Using and completing assessment tools

Requirements

• Associates or BA or prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool)
• Must pass BCI background check and FBI Fingerprinting
• Must have all necessary vaccinations
