Now hiring DSP’s in Central Point, Grants Pass, and Medford. Must be able to work weekends!

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and personal growth.
• Assist individuals in participating in community outings, recreational activities, and social events.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience of 12 months or more in a group home or similar setting preferred. 
• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism.
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification or the willingness to obtain these certifications prior to placement.
• Current OIS (Oregon Intervention System) training or the willingness to obtain this certification prior to placement.
• Workday DSP tier 1 & tier 2 Core Competencies or the willingness to obtain this certification prior to placement.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license of at least 6 months with a clean driving record .
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
