Job Description :

Cabinet Technology Branch seeks an individual to work as a Desktop Engineer/Support. CABINET is seeking 1 contactor position for a Desktop Engineer/Support in the Information Technology Branch's Field Support Section.
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (the position will have a desk at 1266 Louisville Road, Frankfort) - The position requires physical work on equipment in the central.

Key Responsibilities:
· Main responsibility is to administer CABINET Desktops, Notebooks, and Mobile Data Terminals (and accompanying equipment).
· Hardware and software support, including specialized law enforcement software and devices.
· Assist with IT equipment in CABINET cruisers.
· Work with vendors for support on workstation issues.
· Coordinate with Tier 1 and 3 personnel on support issues
· Work with the IT Ticket System
· Performs other tasks and duties as assigned or needed by the agency.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Windows desktop operating systems support client hardware and software, including Office 365 applications
· Troubleshooting skills
· Ability to work in a team atmosphere
· Ability to create technical documentation
· Provide Tier 2 support to other personnel in the IT Branch
· Ability to receive training and retain new knowledge
· Ability to be professional and courteous
