We’re looking for an experienced and driven Automotive Controller to lead our accounting department and oversee all financial operations for the dealership. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to make a direct impact on our continued growth and success. What You’ll Do * Oversee all dealership accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and the General Ledger. * Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Ensure all financial reporting meets Ford Motor Company and regulatory requirements. * Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and internal financial controls. * Reconcile floor plan and inventory accounts. * Lead, train, mentor, and support the accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Partner with department managers to monitor profitability, control expenses, and support strategic decisions. * Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports. * Coordinate external audits and tax filings. What We’re Looking For * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). * Minimum of 5 years of automotive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or Office Manager role. * Strong working knowledge of CDK (required). * Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills. * Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication abilities. * A proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
