Job Description

RedSky is seeking an Assessment Specialist to support our DoD customer at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. This position requires a strong background in media and social media analysis, communications assessment, and the ability to deliver actionable insights to senior leaders. The ideal candidate will possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and exceptional analytical, research, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end analysis of media and social media content to inform communication strategies and campaign planning.
• Develop, maintain, and refine regional media landscape maps, identifying pertinent outlets and key communicators.
• Research, assess, and profile foreign media sources, audiences, and influencers—including government officials, journalists, religious leaders, and other high-impact communicators.
• Formulate approaches and recommend process improvements to optimize communication effectiveness, based on assessment of open-source and classified foreign media and social media data.
• Provide expert analysis and assessments on international relations, global trade, U.S. foreign and regional policy, economics, domestic security, and terrorism, as they relate to client messaging and objectives.
• Prepare written products, briefings, and recommendations designed to enhance CCPA communication goals and support senior leader decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with public affairs, intelligence, and policy stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration across all relevant operational domains.
• Utilize approved tools and databases for the analysis of foreign media outlets, and employ the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint to support research and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of related work experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Demonstrated expertise in media communications, dissemination techniques, and analysis of media content.
• Experience researching and mapping media sources within specific countries or regions.
• Proven ability to formulate and refine communication strategies based on rigorous analysis.
• Proficiency with analytical databases, open-source research tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing, reporting, and public affairs awareness.
• Knowledge of international relations, U.S. military structure, and key foreign policy issues.

Desired:

• Five or more years of experience in media communications, with emphasis on analytical assessment.
• Previous U.S. military experience or experience working in government communications environments.
• Knowledge or experience in marketing, audience analysis, or campaign effectiveness measurement.
