**About the job you're considering** We are seeking a seasoned API Test Engineer with over 5 years of experience in manual testing, API testing, and test automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in service-level, backend, and API testing, with a solid understanding of the telecom domain. **Your role** + Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. + Author detailed test cases and scripts for manual and automated testing. + Perform rigorous service-level, API, and backend testing across complex systems and multiple development environments. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects. + Manage and track multiple testing efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development and product teams. + Utilize test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM/Octane or equivalent platforms to manage test cases, execution, and reporting. **Your skills and experience** + Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on manual, API, and automation testing. + Proven experience in service-level and backend testing methodologies. + Familiarity with telecom domain applications and workflows is highly desirable. + Proficiency in test management tools like MF ALM/Octane or similar. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
