Advantra is partnering with a global consulting organization to hire a Data Analytics Analyst / Consultant to support advanced analytics, data validation, and governance initiatives across enterprise data platforms.
About the role
You will analyze, clean, and validate large datasets to support business decisions. The role combines technical data work with governance and quality assurance responsibilities. You will use SQL, Python, and visualization tools to uncover insights, improve data quality, and ensure compliance with data ethics standards.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, Python, and Excel.
Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
Conduct data profiling, validation, and quality assurance checks.
Write queries and scripts for data manipulation and transformation.
Apply data cleaning and ETL techniques for structured and unstructured data.
Evaluate data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources.
Support statistical modeling and exploratory data analysis.
Apply governance and ethical standards in data handling.
Document data models, definitions, and quality frameworks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to solve business problems through data.
Core requirements
4+ years of experience in data analytics or data consulting.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
Strong skills in Excel and MS Office Suite for analysis and reporting.
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of ETL, data cleaning, and data profiling techniques.
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and validation processes.
Understanding of data governance and ethical data use.
Experience with statistical analysis and model development.
Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong problem-solving and analytical communication skills.
Nice to have
Experience with AI or machine learning model implementation.
Knowledge of data ethics frameworks or compliance programs.
Familiarity with automation for data testing and validation.
Experience with large-scale enterprise data environments.
Certification in Power BI, Tableau, or cloud data analytics.
