We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus!

Family Service Association is seeking to hire a full-time, 40 hours per week, Accounts Payable Clerk. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a partial hybrid remote schedule (after intro period)

Accounts Payable essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Process weekly accounts payable.
• Check the edit list for accuracy.
• Maintain the “Monthly Summary Bill Log” worksheet on recurring expenses.
• Forward capital assets and grant vouchers to the supervisor.
• Compare the Payments Due Schedule against the Trial Balance on the 1st of each month.
• Obtain and ensure all W-9s and Workers' Comp certificates are received for all vendors who require them.
• Review and prepare 1099s.
• Bank runs.
• Assist with external audit preparation and requests as needed.
• Maintain and record agency credit card expenditures and payments.
• Audit mileage vouchers submitted for payment.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Associate Degree in Accounting preferred (but not required).
